Dirt Simple - Electric Guitar Solos on Open Strings

Book with online audio. Focuses on playing rhythmic themes entirely on open strings. What seems to be a simple task quickly becomes a challenge, requiring a high level of accuracy and an excellent sense of rhythm. While the picking hand can only play what the other hand has prepared, nothing musical will happen unless you pluck the right string. Sven Nier’s exercises and tunes offer motivating, effective training to facilitate hitting the correct string with precision, winning half the coordination battle. Includes access to play-along audio with and without the solo part. Notation only. 27 pp.
