Dirt Emo Bundle

Bundle Includes: Dirt Emo Vol. 1 Opaque Baby Pink Vinyl Dirt Emo Vol. 2 Limited Edition Superdope Blue Vinyl Vol. 1 Description: Dirt Emo is having peripheral elements of folk, americana, or country wrapped up in a confessional expression drawing heavily from bands in the Emo/Grunge/Pop punk scene. These bands shaped a generational attitude. They were a source of relief, honesty, connection to emotions, and at times, a healthy disdain for establishment usually at the comical expense of an authority figure. And when you put an emotional instrument such as steel guitar along with that attitude you’ve got Dirt Emo. I’ve sung these songs my whole life in this style. It never sounded “country” to me it just sounded haunting and cool. Vol. 2 Description: Ruston Kelly has established himself as an essential voice, capable of transforming his unsparing self-examination into moments of sublime catharsis. With a lyrical sensibility that constantly shifts from candid to poetic, the South Carolina-born singer/songwriter imbues his songs with equal parts nuanced confession and punk-rock irreverence. Dirt Emo was born out of that influence. It’s having peripheral elements of folk, americana, or country wrapped up in a confessional expression drawing.  Vol. 1 Track List: Side A Screaming Infidelities” feat.
