Diammonium Phosphate is a nitrogen source used to increase yeast production and growth. Works well in a yeast starter to increase activity and yeast reproduction. Diammonium Phosphate works well with beer, white wines and meads, which are typically lacking in natural nutrients. 1/4 tsp -1 tsp per gallon depending on recipe or what you are making.
