On our travels, we loved the patterned repetition of tiled village roofs and neatly marked crop fields and translated them into a uniquely beautiful handwoven checkered weave. Naturally dyed using a combination of Baheda fruit and walnut shells. Handwoven on a pedal loom in Kutch, our kala cotton features a woven texture. With a unique hand and feel, our textured woven fabric is the perfect fabric choice for the summer. This beautiful weave was used on our Dipak shorts which have a regular rise, drawstring elastic waist. Relaxed fitting and utilitarian in nature, they are complete with special elements including a handmade drawcord, reinforced back pocket detail and finished interior seams that create a garment that is as beautiful on the inside as the outside. - 100% Handwoven cotton - Undyed natural color - Elastic waistband - 8" Inseam - Front bone button and button fly - Two front and two rear patch pockets - Handmade drawstring - Hand finished and closed seams Produced in a limited run with exclusive handcrafted fabrics. Due to the nature of the print, each piece is unique. We recommend cold washing using natural detergents and line drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are designed to last when treated with care. Size Info
