Dioscorea sp. Platinum

I've actually been able to find out very little about this particular species of Dioscorea. I mean, at all. I'm not even sure where it's from. (Information I was provided originally indicated it was of Peruvian origin, however I later received conflicting reports that it might have been a species out of Borneo. I honestly have no idea.) I'm on it though and will update as soon as I've learned more. If you have any info on her, please do reach out!  What I can tell you, is that it is beautiful and fast growing, though a bit slower to size up that some other Dioscorea. It features lovely blue-green leaves with a silvery (or platinum, hence the name) sheen which becomes more pronounced as the plant matures. New growth comes in a deep purple / bronze (ish) color.  A truly unique plant that I'm very happy to have in my collection.  Recommended potting mix: CPK Potting Mix Recommended semi-hydro medium: Lechuza Pon
