Supporting 12-24 VDC operation, it features opto-coupler isolation between the USB bus and I/O interfaces for excellent noise immunity. Common terminals per 16 channels allow different external power supplies for each group. The unit is connector-compatible with PIO-64/64L(PCI)H and DIO-6464L-PE for easy migration. Digital filter — Prevents wrong recognition of input signals from carrying noise or chattering. All input terminals can be filtered via software. Interrupt capability — 16 input signals can be used as interrupt requests. Interrupt trigger edge (rising or falling) is selectable. Surge protection — Zener diodes connected to output circuits protect against surge voltages. Overcurrent protection — Overcurrent protection circuit provided for every eight output channels. Automatically recovers after fault condition clears.
