Dino Kale - Bunched

Dino kale is one of the easiest ways to add more nutrient-rich greens to your meals. It provides fiber and important nutrients, including vitamins A, C and K. These nutrients help support: 🌱 Normal immune function 🌱 Healthy bones and blood clotting 🌱 Eye and skin health 🌱 Digestion and gut health 🌱 Collagen production and iron absorption Dino kale has a hearty texture and a slightly sweeter, less bitter flavor than many other kales. Massage it with olive oil for a fresh salad, sauté it with garlic, add it to soups, blend it into smoothies, or bake it into crispy kale chips. Our certified organic Dino kale is grown by Blue Heron Farms in Corralitos, California. It is fresh, versatile, locally connected and an easy way to bring more nourishing California-grown food to your table.   Why do I carry Dino Kale from Blue Heron Farms? Because knowing who grows our food matters. Blue Heron Farms is a 20-acre certified organic farm tucked into a sheltered valley in Corralitos, California, along our Central Coast. The farm’s coastal breezes, warmer winters, and 650-foot elevation create a unique climate for growing a beautiful variety of vegetables—including this fresh, hearty Dino kale. Blue Heron Farms was established in 1985 by Dennis Tamura, who studied with renowned master gardener Alan Chadwick and later managed the UC Santa Cruz Farm and Garden. Today, Dennis operates the farm with his wife, Lori Perry, supported by a hardworking team from Jalisco and Michoacán, Mexico, along with their flower and farmers-market crews. This is more than a bunch of kale. It is certified organic food grown by experienced farmers, dedicated workers, and people who understand the soil, climate, seasons, and responsibility that come with feeding a community. That is why I am proud to bring Blue Heron Farms Dino Kale to my customers. 🌱🥬
