Diner

Cirque Coffee Roasters' Diner is a love letter to coffees that deserved better. This rotating blend spotlights overlooked lots—past-crop beauties and slightly under-scored beans that didn't get their moment—and roasts them to shine. The result? A nostalgic, approachable cup that tastes like the best diner coffee you've ever had, with a specialty-grade soul. It's proof that great coffee isn't just about the score on a cupping form; it's about the farmers who worked tirelessly to get their beans to market, and the roasters who see potential where others looked past. Currently featuring a natural-process coffee from smallholder farmers in Peru's Chontali and Colasay regions, Diner delivers a balanced profile that's both comforting and interesting. Expect roasted nuts, bright citrus, and a clean, smooth finish—the kind of coffee that works morning, noon, or late-night. Because the blend rotates, each bag is a small snapshot of Cirque's ongoing mission to champion quality wherever they find it. Tasting Notes Nutty and citrusy with a smooth, forgiving body. You'll get flavors of toasted almond and hazelnut up front, a gentle acidity reminiscent of orange zest, and a clean, sweet finish. It's approachable enough for daily drinking but layered enough to keep your attention. Medium roast—developed for balance, not drama. Brew Methods Diner is a true all-rounder. It shines in drip machines and pour-overs (we love it in a V60 at a 1:16 ratio), holds its own as a mellow espresso (try 18g in, 36g out in 28 seconds), and makes a wonderfully smooth French press. If you're looking for a forgiving daily driver that doesn't sacrifice flavor, this is it.
