An ultrasonic system turns water into a fine mist, and multi-colored LEDs light it from within, so the "flame" has real three-dimensional movement and a smoke-like drift you can see from any angle. Adjustable spacers let you shape the flame, and crackling wood sound rounds out the effect. It also heats: a fan-forced heater delivers 4,163 BTU at 120V or 6,551 BTU at 240V for spaces up to 1,000 sq ft, with Eco Heat and a 15-minute Boost mode. The flame runs with the heat off, so you can use it year-round. Before you buy — two things to plan: this unit is direct-wired to a 120V or 240V circuit (a 120V plug kit is available separately), and it's designed to be hard-plumbed to your water line with 1/4" tubing for continuous operation. An overflow sensor shuts off the water supply automatically. Ask us about the plumbing kit and plug kit before you order and we'll quote them with the fireplace. What's included: the firebox, lifelike driftwood logs, acrylic ice media, and a multi-function remote. Not included: the electrical circuit, plumbing connection, plug kit and plumbing kit. 1 Standard Features —Optimyst® water-vapor flame effect — mist and LED light, not LED alone —Adjustable spacers shape the flame; adjustable intensity and brightness —Crackling wood fire sound —Fan-forced heater with Eco Heat and 15-minute Boost — up to 1,000 sq ft —Air Circulation Mode — moves room air without heating —Flame runs with or without heat —Zero-clearance built-in installation — no chimney, gas or venting —Optional hard-plumbed water supply for continuous operation, with overflow sensor —Driftwood logs and acrylic ice media included —Flame Connect app, multi-function remote, and hidden touch controls 2 Specifications Flame Technology Optimyst® (water vapor + LED) Model OLF46-AM (X-136786) Product Dimensions (W×H×D) 47-1/2 x 31-1/2 x 11-7/8 in Viewing Area 45-7/8" W x 14-3/8" H Voltage / Wattage 120V (1,220W) or 240V (1,920W) Heat Output 4,163 BTU (120V) / 6,551 BTU (240V) Heating Area Up to 1,000 sq ft Wiring Direct wire — 120V plug kit sold separately Water Supply Hard-plumbed with 1/4" tubing (plumbing kit optional) Weight approx. 150 lbs Usage Indoor use only Installation Built-In / Fully Recessed (zero clearance) 3 Water, Warranty & Upkeep A water-vapor fireplace needs a little care that an LED unit doesn't: the water type your unit should run on, and the cleaning interval for the transducer and water tank, are set out in the Dimplex owner's manual.
