Bright, briny, and refreshingly savory, this shrub captures the crisp snap of fresh cucumber layered with the herbal lift of dill and the tang of apple cider vinegar. The cucumber brings clean, cooling freshness, while dill adds aromatic depth and a distinctly garden‑fresh character. Balanced sweetness rounds out the acidity, creating a profile that’s bold, thirst‑quenching, and unmistakably pickle‑inspired. Created for the Mezcalloween III box, this shrub is designed to play beautifully with mezcal, where its savory brightness contrasts smoky notes and adds serious refreshment. It also shines in highballs, spritz‑style drinks, and zero‑proof cocktails that lean crisp, tangy, and unexpected.
