Digitalis hybrida - Candy Mountain

Digitalis ‘Candy Mountain’ is a trailblazing foxglove with upward-facing flowers, letting gardeners fully admire every speckled, orchid-pink bell. The blooms rise in ascending rows on strong upright stems, creating a bold vertical accent for cottage gardens, mixed borders, woodland edges, and pollinator plantings. Unlike traditional foxgloves with nodding blooms, ‘Candy Mountain’ shows off its white-speckled throats beautifully, guiding bees and hummingbirds right into the flowers. Plants first form handsome rosettes of downy, oblong green leaves, then send up sturdy 3–4' flower spikes in early summer, often continuing for months with good care. It is excellent in front of fences, behind lower perennials, or anywhere a garden needs height, color, and romance. Plant Digitalis ‘Candy Mountain’ in sun to part shade with fertile, well-drained soil and regular water. The flowers are gorgeous in bouquets and irresistible in cottage-style plantings. Add compost for best growth and enjoy the long, elegant bloom show. Explore more vertical beauties in our Digitalis collection. Safety note: All parts of this plant are toxic if ingested.
