Milwaukee MA884 Digital Brix / Potential Alcohol Refractometer

Simplified Brix & Alcohol Measurement for Home Winemakers and Brewers The Milwaukee MA884 is a precision tool for home winemakers who want fast, accurate readings of sugar content and potential alcohol before fermentation. Whether you’re working with grapes, juice, or concentrate, the MA884 eliminates the uncertainty of analog refractometers. In just seconds, it gives you digital Brix and alcohol estimates—letting you fine-tune your must, choose the right yeast, and make confident adjustments before fermentation begins. You can even customize the alcohol conversion factor based on your fermentation style or grape variety for improved accuracy. Note: The potential alcohol reading is an estimate based on sugar content before fermentation begins and assumes complete fermentation—actual ABV may vary. Homebrewers will appreciate how easily the MA884 tracks Brix throughout the brewing process—from mash to boil to sparge. Just a couple drops of wort are all it takes to check gravity in real time, helping you stop your sparge exactly when you hit your target OG. With a fast ~1.5 second read time, waterproof design, and automatic temperature compensation, this meter is perfect for dialing in your brew day without wasting wort or time. Built for simplicity and durability, the MA884 features a dual-level digital display, one-button calibration with distilled water, and a sealed stainless steel sample well with a flint glass prism. No analog guesswork. No bulky samples. Just fast, accurate, digital readings—every time.
