HC-820M Digital Heater Controller + Sensor - Clearance - Finnex

The HC-820M Finnex Heater Controller is equipped with an advanced digital processor that accurately monitors and controls your aquarium’s water temperature. It uses a remote sensor to gather temperature data directly from the aquarium. Unlike traditional sensors, the remote sensor contains no bi-metallic contacts that could arc, corrode, or wear out, ensuring precise and reliable temperature control. This keeps your water temperature stable, eliminating the fluctuations often seen with lower-quality controllers. The controller features an easy-to-read display that shows the current temperature, allowing for precise adjustments in increments as small as 1/10th of a degree directly from the front panel. Key Features: - 1000-Watt Max Output Load with Dual Relay Protection - Out-of-Water Sensor Protection with Audio Alerts - 1/10th Degree Temperature Calibration - 3-Digit Digital Display & Controls - Overheating Audio Alert - Temperature Memory Protection - 1.5°F High-Precision Accuracy - Temperature Steady Low Variance Technology The remote sensor also acts as a safety mechanism, automatically cutting power to the heater if the water level drops and exposes the sensor to air. This prevents overheating, safeguarding your aquarium’s inhabitants from potential harm. Maintenance Guidelines: 1. Secure the out-of-water sensor directly under the cord clip without slack, positioned above the heating element at all times. 2. Clean and check the functionality of the sensor every 30 days. 3. Do not operate the heater if the out-of-water sensor is not functioning. 4. For detailed care and maintenance instructions, refer to the user manual. This advanced controller provides peace of mind with its innovative design and reliable performance, making it an excellent choice for maintaining a stable and safe aquatic environment.
