Diggin' Up Dinosaurs T-Rex Smithsonian

Carefully chip away at a sand block to unearth dinosaur bones with this fun and imaginative Smithsonian kit. Use safety goggles, a wooden mallet, a dowel to hunt for fossils, and an enclosed brush to remove dust from the sandblock. Once unearthed, rinse dinosaur bones with water and snap together to form a model Tyrannosaurus Rex. This set includes a 23" x 17" color STEM poster that teaches about the history of paleontology, where and how dinosaur fossils are excavated, extinction theories, and more.
