Digestive Health Panel

The gut plays a role in over 80% of the immune system and has a direct connection with the brain through the vagus nerve. Poor bacterial balance or dysbiosis is associated with every digestive tract disorder as well as auto-immune conditions and psychological and behavioral issues. The health of the body and mind are especially dependent upon the health of the human microbiome. The ideal ratio of progenic to pathogenic microbes is thought to be 85:15. Most Americans today have this ratio flipped in favor of the antagonistic microbial communities. This is called dysbiosis or bad bacterial balance. Dysbiotic conditions are due to the influence of environmental toxins that wipe out progenic species and create an environment conducive to parasitic growth. The Comprehensive Stool Analysis detects the presence of pathogenic microorganisms such as yeast, parasites and bacteria that contribute to chronic illness and neurological dysfunction. It provides powerful information about natural products that will be effective against specific strains detected in the sample. THIS TEST MEASURES LEVELS OF: [row] [column lg=”4″ md=”12″ sm=”12″ xs=”12″ ] Beneficial Bacteria Overall Intestinal Health Nutrient Absorption [/column] [column lg=”4″ md=”12″ sm=”12″ xs=”12″ ] Candida & Parasites Infectious Pathogens Digestive Challenges [/column] [column lg=”4″ md=”12″ sm=”12″ xs=”12″ ] Intestinal Immune Function Inflammatory Markers  Stool Metabolic Markers [/column] [/row]When the digestive system is damaged it leads to improper nutrient absorption and an increase in toxic substances in the body. This is one of the leading causes of chronic disease. For example, excessive yeast produces toxic substances that can pass through the blood-brain barrier and alter neurological functioning causing “brain fog,” behavior problems and learning difficulties. BENEFITS OF THE COMPREHENSIVE STOOL ANALYSIS: Discover the amount of beneficial microorganisms in your GI tract. Levels of parasites, infectious organisms and Candida are evaluated. Allows for an appropriate diagnosis and treatment. Evaluates the effectiveness of natural substances against the pathogenic colonies in your GI system so you will know exactly what will work best. WHAT DOCTORS DO WRONG Most medically trained GI doctors pay little attention to diet and lifestyle factors and how they impact the health of the gut. The medical specialists look to diets full of processed drinks and powerful drugs and surgeries as their first step in addressing digestive problems. Many natural health physicians will give quality probiotics and herbs to help improve the intestinal ecology. Unfortunately, they are unsure of the actual effects of these probiotics and herbs on the individual’s unique terrain. The Comprehensive stool test looks at all the major factors and what compounds will work best for eliminating the various pathogenic microorganisms. This takes the guess work of out the process of regaining our digestive health terrain. WHO NEEDS THIS TEST? The retail value (using market value and insurance based rates) is highly inflated and driving up the cost of health care. This is the old, archaic method that many people are still using and paying way more for insurance and co-pays than they really should be. Many intelligent people are saving insurance premium dollars and turning to pay by order labs such as DirectLabs and others. These skip the middle man (doctors’ visits) and cut down costs for the patient.   My team has been able to beat all of these other methods when it comes to providing the best educational descriptions behind the tests and superior savings. By using DrJockers.com as your source you will save time and money and know exactly the right tests for you so you can get well quicker with less cost. Additionally, when you order special labs from DrJockers.com you will receive a free email with a summary of your results and lifestyle and supplement recommendations from Dr Jockers himself or a well-qualified team member.   If the test requires blood work you can take your kit to any local lab and have the trained professional take your blood and fill out the kit and send it in the mail. Urine and blood prick tests can all be done in the comfort of your home and sent into the lab with the mailing slip in your kit. All instructions will be sent to you with the kit. It is a very simple process that most anyone can figure out. The lab also has a customer service phone # if any help is needed.
