DIG Irrigation 07-059 10-32 Foggers, 2 GPH

DIG’s EXL Series Low-Flow 10-32 thread and 1/4″ barbed Foggers operate at a pressure range of 30 to 80 PSI to produce micro-sized droplets, supporting optimal cooling or humidifying conditions by reducing temperature and increasing humidity. The fogger’s vortex design spins incoming water into a very fine mist, with higher incoming pressure giving smaller and finer droplets. Use where overhead cooling or misting is desired, or for plants that require constant moisture. Key physiological processes such as photosynthesis are compromised when temperatures reach 95°F to 104°F. With the increasing severity and duration of heat waves, using EXL foggers to cool fruit trees and vines under these adverse conditions may result in lowering temperature by up to 20°F and improving resilience in future similar events. Features Supports optimal cooling or humidifying conditions by reducing temperature and increasing humidity Incorporates a vortex design that swirls water droplets into a fine mist The EXL foggers can influence canopies and foliage temperatures by decreasing temperatures up to 20°F Operates in a normal pressure range of 35 to 80 PSI with high droplet uniformity Produces a droplet size of 50 to 100 microns (100 m at 50 PSI) Available in four color-coded Interchangeable nozzles Modular, lightweight and easy to maintain, configure and install Three-part construction with O-ring for a tight seal Available with 11/4″ barbed elbow, /4″ barb, 10-32 thread and on 1/2″ FNPT, Manufactured from superior durable plastics with UV protection for extended life operation Specifications Flow rate: .8 to 3 GPH (3 to 11.3 L/H) Operating pressure: 35 to 80 PSI (2.4 to 5.5 BAR) Inlet size: 1/4" (4 mm) barb or 10-32 thread Materials: Body and cover: Polyester Nozzels: Acetal O-ring: Buna-N Filter requirement: minimum of 200 mesh FOGGER/MISTER SPACING 2' 3' 4' 5' Flow rate @ 30 PSI 2.21 2.21 2.21 2.21 Maximum length 142' 186' 224' 255' Flow rate in GPM 2.62 2.28 2.06 1.88 Flow rate in GPH 156.9 137 123.8 112.7 # of fogger/misters 71 62 56 51 Head loss in PSI 4.9 5.0 5.0 4.8 Velocity (f/s) 2.97 2.59 2.34 2.13 Total head loss at the Fogger/Mister head 4.9 5.0 5.0 4.8
