DIG - 2'' MPT SUPRA-TDS Semi-Automatic Disc Filter (40 Mesh) - PN2SAD-040

2″ MPT SUPRA-TDS™ Series Semi-Automatic Disc Filter w/ 40 Mesh Disc Filter DIG introduces the innovative and patented SUPRA-TDS™ series, a semi-automatic disc filter that combines the benefits of disc element filtration with a user-friendly semi-automatic flushing operation to remove solids, debris, and other contaminants. This groundbreaking technology offers a cost-effective, efficient filtration solution with a simplified cleaning process—without the need to open the filter for manual cleaning or deal with the complexity of expensive fully automated systems. Applications Agriculture, landscape irrigation, industrial processes, and aquaculture applications for maintaining water quality, particularly protecting drip emitters, micro sprinklers, and other sensitive applications. Supports secondary, backup filtration for gravel systems and sand separators. Specifications Maximum working pressure: up to 145 PSI (10 bar) Maximum recommended flow rate: 110 GPM (25 m³/h) Screen Mesh Size: 40 mesh (Blue) Filtration area: 158 square inches (1025 cm²) Filtration Volume: 81 Cubic Inches (1330 cm²) Connection Size: 2” NPT Inlet and Outlet | Flush valve: 2” | Secondary service port: ½” Maximum operating temperature: 60°C (140°F) Semi-automatic flushing data requirements: Overhead handle flushing time: 15–30 seconds | Secondary port flushing time: 10 seconds | Minimum flushing pressure: 29 PSI (2 bar) | Flushing flow rate at 30 PSI (2 bar): 40 GPM (9 m³/h) | Flushing flow rate at 43 PSI (3 bar): 52 GPM (12 m³/h) Construction materials: Filter body & cover: RPA (reinforced polyamide), PP | Seals: EPDM | Filter elements (spine): RPP (reinforced polypropylene) Features TDS: Total Dissolved Solids, filtering the total concentration of dissolved inorganic salts and organic matter in water. Simple Operation: The cleaning process is quick and easy, requiring the opening of the flush valve at the filter bottom and a quarter turn of the overhead handle for 15–30 seconds. High Efficiency: Provides better protection by filtering smaller particles than semi-automatic screen filters of the same filtration grade. Small Footprint: Compact design fits a wide range of applications in various locations. Versatile Applications: Suitable for agriculture, landscape irrigation, and industrial use. Options: Clogging indicator allows for easy monitoring of filter head-loss conditions. Flow Rate Capability: 110 GPM. Higher flow rates can be achieved with battery set configurations of two to six units. Large Filtration Area: Achieves higher organic and inorganic contaminant holding capacity and lower flushing frequency. Construction: Made from polymeric materials with high resistance to corrosion and chemicals, and UV-protected for longer life. Manuals & Literature Spec Sheet SUPRA-TDS Installation & Maintenance
