Diffractions Necklace

Use the cube and the dodecahedron to create geometric beaded beads! Named after a part of particle physics, the Diffractions Necklace uses variations on right-angle weave (RAW), netting, and circular peyote to create self-supporting beaded beads. These lacy structures feature Swarovski crystals, two different types of duo beads, and an assortment of Japanese seed beads. Create custom bead caps to match each beaded bead, and join them together with wire connections to emphasize the hollow nature of each structure. Alternatively, string these beaded beads on an optional chain, cord, or a ribbon, and create additional beaded beads for matching earrings! This pattern is appropriate for beaders who are already proficient in right-angle weave (RAW) and who would like to explore advanced geometric beaded beads. Beaders who have stitched the Succulent Topiary Pendant or the Fiberoptic Dodecahedron are in great shape to try this design.
