Dicentra Amore Rose

Fern Leaf Bleeding Hearts (Dicentra 'Amore Rose') plants are compact-growing perennials that produce unique heart-shaped flowers from late spring to late summer each year. Their rosy-pink flowers sit atop slender stems and are accompanied by deep green, fern-like foliage. Unlike Common Bleeding Hearts (Dicentra sepectabllis), they do not go dormant in midsummer. However, this is only if their soil is kept moist throughout their growing season. Dicentra 'Amore Rose' perennials are the perfect plant for a shady border in your garden, or in rock gardens, underplanting shrubs, edging plants, or as a ground cover. It is crucial to note that these plants are toxic if ingested, so keep them away from children or pets.
