Diamond Chafing Gear Chafe

Diamond Chafing Gear is designed to protect your rig’s most vulnerable points—leader loops and terminal connections—against abrasion and wear caused by heavy pressure, friction, and sharp edges. Whether you're pulling dredges, fighting large pelagics, or rigging for toothy inshore predators, this chafing gear provides a reliable barrier that helps preserve the integrity of your line where it matters most. Flexible and Durable Tubing Constructed from high-quality, flexible plastic tubing, Diamond’s chafing gear is both durable and easy to work with. The tubing is sized to snugly fit over monofilament or fluorocarbon leaders, shielding them from damage caused by swivels, hooks, crimps, or metal terminal hardware. It’s particularly important in high-stress rigging scenarios, where a small nick in your leader could cost you a trophy fish. A Must-Have for Serious Riggers Available in a variety of sizes to match different leader diameters, Diamond Chafing Gear is an essential item for offshore trolling spreads, live bait rigs, and any setup where long fights and constant pressure put strain on your gear. Its simple design makes it easy to cut and slide into place, giving anglers peace of mind and confidence in their rigs. Trusted by Offshore Professionals Used by top captains, tournament anglers, and charter crews, Diamond Fishing Products' chafing gear has earned its place as a staple on rigging benches around the world. When attention to detail can be the difference between landing a giant or losing one at color, having the right protection in place is critical—and Diamond delivers. For anglers who take their rigging seriously, Diamond Chafing Gear offers an added layer of security and professionalism to every connection. Rugged, easy to apply, and trusted by the best, it's a smart investment in landing more fish and protecting your gear.
