Diamax Cyclone Polishing Disk 5in

5″ Diamax Cyclone Polishing Disk – 50 Grit The 5″ Diamax Cyclone Polishing Disk – 50 Grit is a high-performance surface preparation and grinding tool engineered for aggressive material removal on natural and engineered stone surfaces. Designed for professional fabricators and installers, this disk is ideal for the first stage of the polishing process, where efficient leveling, shaping, and scratch removal are critical. With its coarse 50 grit diamond configuration, the Cyclone Polishing Disk quickly removes high spots, saw marks, surface imperfections, and uneven areas on materials such as granite, marble, quartz, and engineered stone. It provides strong, consistent cutting action while maintaining control and stability, allowing operators to shape edges and flatten surfaces with precision. Manufactured using a durable, high-concentration diamond bond matrix, this polishing disk is built to withstand demanding fabrication environments. It delivers fast stock removal while maintaining consistent performance throughout extended grinding sessions. The balanced design helps reduce vibration, improving operator comfort and ensuring smoother surface transitions before progressing to finer grit stages. The 5″ diameter makes it compatible with most standard variable-speed polishers, angle grinders, and air polishers, allowing seamless integration into professional stone fabrication workflows. Its hook-and-loop backing enables quick pad changes, increasing productivity during multi-step polishing sequences. Ideal for countertop fabrication, slab preparation, edge shaping, and restoration projects, the Diamax Cyclone 50 Grit Polishing Disk serves as the essential starting point for achieving a refined, professional finish. After initial grinding and leveling, users can transition to intermediate and fine grits for a smooth, high-gloss final polish.
