Diamax Cyclone Convex Disk 3in

Diamax 3″ Cyclone Convex Disk The Diamax 3″ Cyclone Convex Disk is a professional-grade diamond grinding tool engineered for extreme stock removal and shaping on natural and engineered stone surfaces, including granite, marble, quartz, and engineered stone. Designed specifically for demanding applications, this convex disk combines aggressive cutting performance with precise control, allowing stone fabricators and installers to flatten uneven surfaces, remove heavy material, and rough-shape edges, even on curved or contoured areas where traditional flat grinding tools may struggle. Constructed with premium diamond abrasive technology, the disk delivers maximum cutting efficiency and durability, enabling rapid material removal while maintaining consistent performance over prolonged use. Its 3″ convex shape ensures full contact with convex or contoured surfaces, making it ideal for radius work, edge profiling, and shaping complex stone geometries without sacrificing precision. The disk is optimized for dry grinding applications, allowing operators to work efficiently in situations where water cannot be used. Its robust design ensures minimal vibration and stable handling, improving control and safety during aggressive grinding tasks. This makes it a reliable choice for professional stone fabrication shops, countertop installers, and restoration specialists who demand high-performance tools for challenging stone-working projects. Key Features & Specifications Bond / Construction High-quality diamond abrasive bonded to a heavy-duty metal backing for superior durability and extreme grinding performance on hard stone materials. Attachment / Mounting Designed for secure mounting on compatible hand polishers and polishing machines, providing stable operation and precise control during aggressive grinding and shaping. Intended Use Engineered for extra-aggressive dry grinding of granite, marble, quartz, and engineered stone surfaces. Optimized for dry use to remove heavy material and prepare surfaces for subsequent grinding and polishing stages. Polishing / Finish Design 50 grit delivers ultra-aggressive cutting action to remove deep damage, flatten uneven surfaces, and rough-form edges prior to finer grit processing. Flexibility & Control Convex profile allows the disk to follow edges, curves, and contours, reducing chatter and helping maintain controlled grinding on complex shapes. Max RPM Rated for high-speed operation (RPM dependent on machine specifications) for efficient grinding and consistent surface quality. Applicable Tools Compatible with hand polishers, variable-speed polishing machines, and systems designed for diamond abrasive convex disks. Ideal Applications Countertops, vanity tops, stair edges, tabletops, and decorative stone surfaces requiring extreme dry grinding, leveling, and heavy contour shaping.
