Diablo Controls DSP-7 Micro Loop Detector

The Diablo Controls DSP-7 is a single channel loop detector with one relay output (NO and NC contacts, 1 A max) and a removable 7-pin terminal block. It runs on 10 to 30 VDC or 10 to 28 VAC and draws about 35 mA with no vehicle on the loop. It is 1.52 x 2.9 x 1.56 in. There are no switches to set. The detector adjusts itself for loop and lead-in size and does not cross-talk with other Diablo detectors of this type. The green LED blinks once a second in normal operation, slowly for an open loop and fast for a shorted loop; the red LED shows detect. Fail-safe: the output goes to detect if the loop fails, so it can be used on a safety loop. Loop inductance range is 20 to 2000 µH. It operates from -35°F to 165°F. Before You Order Fail-safe. The DSP-7LP is the low power version for solar gates; the DSP-6LP is the fail-secure low power version. Terminal block wiring: relay NC, common and NO on pins 1 to 3, power on pins 4 and 5, loop on pins 6 and 7.
