DeWitt Woven Geotextiles

DeWitt Woven Geotextiles are high-quality polypropylene fabrics that stabilize the sub grade and separate soil from the aggregate.  Order this product to experience a reduction in maintenance costs and extended life on pavement structures.  Characteristics Polypropylene High strength  Lower elongation (stretch)  Lower water flow  Benefits  Stabilization of soil  Lower risk of puncture  Reduces amount of required base materials  Practical Uses Soil separation  Base Reinforcement  Structural Support  Underlayment  Key Functions:  Separation: prevents the mixing of subgrade soils with aggregate layers, ensuring load-bearing layers remain intact and effective over time. Essential for road construction, driveways, and parking lots.  Reinforcement: enhances load distribution across a wider area, reducing rutting, settlement, and structural failure, and also enables  support of higher loads with improved stability. Filtration: allows water to pass through the fabric while retaining fine soil particles. Maintains the integrity of the soil structure while promoting proper drainage and preventing clogging or soil migration. Use Cases Per Series:  DWG 200 Series (5.0 0z.)  200 pound grab tensile strength DWG 200 Spec. Sheet  Used for separation, reinforcement, and filtration  Used underneath an aggregate overlay DWG 315 Series (6.5 oz.)   315 pound grab tensile strength DWG 315 Spec. Sheet  Used primarily for roadway and railway stabilization and reinforcement (i.e. parking lots, residential streets, roadways)  High tensile strength for soil separation over moderate sub-grade
