Devil's Tongue Fire Batch Pretzels – ¾ lb Artisan Pouch

Devil's Tongue Fire Batch Pretzels Kingston Fire Batch Recipe No. 19 • The Pinnacle of Heat The Summit. Every Kingston recipe has a story. Some are comforting. Some are smoky. Some are bold. A select few become part of the Fire Batch Series. Then there's Devil's Tongue. This is the recipe I build for people who always ask the same question: "What's your hottest one?" The answer has never been about creating pain. The answer has always been creating unforgettable flavor wrapped inside extraordinary heat. Devil's Tongue represents the highest point in my Fire Batch collection. It's the recipe every other spicy Kingston creation is measured against. The Flavor The first thing you'll notice isn't the heat. It's flavor. Creamy ranch builds the foundation. Smoky adobo adds richness and depth. Garlic and savory spices round everything together before the peppers begin their climb. Then they arrive. Scorpion peppers. Ghost peppers. Carolina Reapers. Approximately twice the pepper intensity of Scorchin' Insanity. Layer after layer. Wave after wave. The heat keeps building long after the first handful, but every bite remains balanced by the savory flavor underneath. That's what makes Devil's Tongue different. It's extreme... without ever forgetting why I created it. Why I Make It This Way Extreme heat has become a competition. Bigger numbers. Hotter peppers. Less flavor. That never interested me. If I'm going to build the hottest recipe Kingston has ever produced, it has to earn its place through craftsmanship—not gimmicks. Devil's Tongue is carefully balanced so the peppers elevate the experience instead of overwhelming it. That's much harder to achieve. And that's why this recipe remains one of the rarest Fire Batches I produce. Devil's Tongue is the hottest recipe I make and sits at the top of the Kingston Fire Batch collection. How does it compare to Scorchin' Insanity? Devil's Tongue is built from the same flavor philosophy, but with approximately twice the pepper intensity. It's a noticeable step up in heat and is intended for experienced spicy food enthusiasts. Is it only heat? No. The ranch, smoky adobo, garlic, and savory spices remain the foundation. The peppers are there to amplify the experience—not replace the flavor. How often do you make it? Only during select Fire Batch releases throughout the year, and always in very limited quantities. For bold flavor with less intensity, try Ghost Ranch, Wildfire Ranch, or Spicy Pickle.
