It symbolizes both the material and spiritual sides of something. At its core, this card represents a negative relationship with others or self. It also expresses some of our deepest, darkest, human feelings. It appears when you think you have no control over your shadow self or these negative forces.  When we wear a Tarot card close to our hearts that has a special meaning, we deepen our intention for its specific interpretation in our own lives. The Devil tarot card is an opportunity to bring negative influences into your conscious awareness, so you can then take action to free yourself from their hold.
