Devigest ADS®

Arthur Andrew Medical Devigest ADS® Advanced Digestive Support • Gluten Sensitivity • Lactose Intolerance • Regularity Devigest Advanced Digestive Support works with your digestive system to support comfortable digestion. Devigest features a unique Dipeptyl Peptidase (DPPIV) enzyme that specifically targets gluten and casein. It has also been enhanced to function over a broad pH range allowing for complete digestion throughout the entire digestive system. Is your gut trying to tell you there’s something wrong? If you have occasional gas or bloating, or your stomach is making you feel uncomfortable or embarrassed, then those are signs your gut is lacking the digestive enzymes it needs to function well. Fortunately, Devigest can help your gut get what it needs—so you can get back to living your life. Devigest is a robust blend of digestive enzymes capable of breaking down protein, carbohydrates, sugar, fat, fiber, and even artificial ingredients—every component of the foods we eat. It’s a powerful, concentrated enzyme blend. One capsule with meals can ease the digestion of even the most problematic foods. Devigest is a 100 percent complete digestive enzyme blend that restores the body’s digestive enzymes, supporting balanced digestion and complete food assimilation. This supplement contains an extremely potent blend of enzymes, including a unique Dipeptyl Peptidase (DPPIV) enzyme. Peptidase is responsible for breaking down gluten and casein. Many companies have started using peptidase, but it’s rarely incorporated into a broad-spectrum blend, leaving most formulas incomplete. However, Devigest is a complete, all-in-one solution. For even more efficacy, Devigest has been enhanced to function over a broad pH range, allowing for complete digestion throughout the entire digestive system. In addition to a number of beneficial enzymes, Devigest also contains Alpha Galactosidase, the active ingredient in Beano®. Unlike many other gas medicines, Alpha Galactosidase can help prevent gas before it starts. Those with a diet high in gassy foods such as beans and leafy vegetables will benefit greatly from the addition of this enzyme. Alpha Galactosidase helps by breaking down the complex carbohydrates found in gassy foods into simpler, more easily digestible sugars. Now you can sit down to a meal with loved ones without worry. The days of taking multiple digestive aids are finally over. How Devigest Works Dairy products, bread, and processed foods are all products found in the average kitchen. And if you’re suffering from digestive problems, these items may be the culprit. Gas, bloating, incomplete digestion, and abdominal discomfort can play a part in the everyday life of many individuals. It’s hard to enjoy a meal with family or friends knowing you’ll probably have to deal with an achy gut later on. Without question, proper digestion is a prerequisite for optimal health. Unless your digestive health is in order, no other self-regulating or self-healing systems, including the immune system, function properly. A healthy body produces enzymes in sufficient quantities to ensure proper digestion of most foods. However, some people do not produce sufficient quantities of digestive enzymes, and often get the common symptoms of indigestion such as gas, bloating, and abdominal discomfort. These symptoms are common indicators that one may benefit from supplementation of a digestive enzyme. However, virtually everyone, even those who are asymptomatic, could benefit from the use of digestive enzymes. Properly digested foods do the following: Add nutrients to our bodies Provide energy Support countless other processes that are vital for proper human function Ingredients  Serving Size: 2 Capsules Amount/Serving Devigest Proprietary Blend: 500 DPP-IV Peptidase DPP-IV, Amylase, Glucoamylase, Alpha Galactosidase, Lactase, Bromelain, Acid Stable Protease, Cellulase, Xylanase, Lipase, Hemicellulase, Papain Devigest Protease Blend: 50,000 HUT (pH Stable Protease derived from A. oryzae and B. licheniformis) Other Ingredients: Cellulose (vegetarian capsules), Calcium Carbonate, Potassium Bicarbonate.  Vegetarian. Non-GMO. Devigest tests free of dairy, gluten, and soy allergens. Contains no artificial colors or preservatives. This formula is Kosher. Bromelain: A proteolytic enzyme derived from pineapple. Bromelain attacks the long chain polypeptides of proteins ingested, breaking them down into shorter chain peptides, which are then able to be broken down further by other enzymes. Protease: A proteolytic enzyme that digests a broad range of proteins. Protease is responsible for digesting the bulk of ingested proteins and is one of the three enzymes found in our body’s natural pancreatic juices. Devigest contains a blend of proteases to broaden the pH range of the product. When present in blood serum, protease plays an important part in supporting circulatory heath. Dipeptidyl Peptidase: A proteolytic enzyme responsible for completing the digestion of peptides to basic amino acids. Dipeptidyl Peptidase is primarily responsible for the breakdown of gluten peptides which are found in food items made from grains such as wheat or rye. Alpha Galactosidase: The primary enzyme used in popular gas-relief products, alpha galactosidase is an enzyme responsible for breaking down complex sugars into simple sugars. This allows certain gas-producing foods such as cruciferous vegetables and legumes to become more easily digestible. Amylase: An enzyme which partially breaks starch down into maltose. Amylase is naturally excreted from the pancreas and saliva. Lipase: Triggers the breakdown of fat into fatty acids. Lipase is the third enzyme that is found in our body’s natural pancreatic juices along with protease and amylase. Glucoamylase: Converts starch into sugar like amylase, but is most active in a highly acidic pH. The inclusion of this component allows for many sugars to be broken down prior to exiting the stomach. Lactase: The enzyme responsible for the hydrolysis of the milk sugar lactose into glucose and galactose. Cellulase: An enzyme that digests cellulose, or plant fiber. Most animals (including humans) do not produce cellulase naturally and are therefore unable to use most of the energy contained in plant material without supplementation of the enzyme. Xylanase: An enzyme with the ability to digest artificial food dyes and preservatives, and is usually lacking in other digestive formulas. Papain: Derived from the papaya, papain hydrolyzes protein peptides into basic amino acids. Potassium Bicarbonate and Calcium Carbonate: Nutrients in the gastrointestinal tract are absorbed most efficiently when the environment is alkaline (pH over seven). Carbonates and bicarbonates help to alkalize the digestive tract, allowing for optimal absorption of nutrients and can ease the symptoms of indigestion when taken after meals. Hemicellulase: Breaks down hemicellulose, a type of polysaccharide that is more complex than simple sugar and present along with cellulose in all plant cell walls. Suggested Use Take Devigest with 8 oz of water at the beginning of each meal or as directed by your healthcare provider. Additional capsules can be taken during periods of occasional discomfort.  Daily Maintenance: 1 capsule per meal.  Increased Support: 2 capsules per meal. For best results, take Devigest immediately prior to eating, or with your first bite. Devigest can also be taken after meals to alleviate digestive complications such as gas, bloating, and indigestion.  The effects of digestive enzymes can be felt fairly quickly when taken after meals for symptoms of indigestion such as bloating or abdominal discomfort. When taking the product with meals containing foods that typically cause indigestion, the product should help alleviate the onset of these symptoms by assisting the body's digestive process. Devigest can be used safely with other dietary supplements. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool dry place with lid tightly closed. More Info. Enzymes are proteins that act as catalysts in biochemical reactions. Every enzyme has a specific reactant known as a substrate, which can be thought of like a lock and key. Devigest contains several enzymes or “keys” that can “unlock” (or break down) many of the food types that are common in our diet. The enzymes in Devigest are specific to the digestion of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Additional enzymes have been added to help digest specific digestive irritants like lactose and gluten. Gluten Sensitivity Do you have a gluten sensitivity? People who suffer from gluten sensitivity are unable to eat foods containing gluten without experiencing complications. Gluten proteins are found in the grains of wheat, rye, and barley. For individuals with sensitivities, gluten proteins trigger a reaction that can cause occasional digestive distress including: Loose stools Abdominal discomfort Irregularity And many others It is important to note that gluten sensitivity is different from Celiac disease (or gluten allergy), which can be fatal for those ingesting gluten. Similar to how those suffering from lactose intolerance can enjoy limited levels of dairy by taking the lactase enzyme, those with gluten sensitivities can greatly benefit from the addition of a potent digestive enzyme such as Devigest. Those with severe or even moderate gluten sensitivities usually eat at home instead of going out, to prevent the risk of accidentally ingesting gluten. Unfortunately, even the most conscientious grocery shoppers could unknowingly purchase a “gluten-free” product to make at home that actually contains gluten. This is because in the US and EU, products can legally be labeled gluten-free as long as they contain levels below 20 parts per million (ppm). Digestive enzymes, such as Devigest, are an excellent way to protect yourself from accidental exposure to gluten. Get Devigest today to start enjoying better digestive health. Lactose Intolerance Devigest also helps individuals who are lactose intolerant. Lactose intolerance is the inability to break down lactose sugars found in dairy-derived foods. People who are lactose intolerant can experience occasional stomach upset after ingesting dairy products. Symptoms usually appear 30 minutes to two hours after eating, though it varies with each individual. Devigest contains a powerful lactase, the enzyme needed to break down lactose, so those with lactose intolerance can enjoy dairy foods without experiencing digestive distress.
