Resilience (Developing Resilience) ~ Subliminal

Developing Resilience: Gaining Inner Fortitude — Resilience is the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties. Resilience is that quality that permits some people to be knocked down by life and come back stronger than ever. The American Psychological Association defines resilience this way, “Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or significant sources of stress — such as family and relationship problems, serious health problems or workplace and financial stressors. It means "bouncing back" from difficult experiences.” Winners are invariably those who simply tried one more time! Some people fall apart whenever things go even slightly wrong, whereas others just jump right back up and try again. Excuses are easy and quitting is often easier than pursuing. There are also those who start off powering through problems, but after a while they feel beaten back, lose their resilience, and stop trying. Unfortunately, bad things do happen to good people—everyone experiences setbacks at some time or another. However, there is a vast amount of truth in the saying, "you are not in control of your stimuli, but you are in control of your responses." Resilience is a mental skill—a mind set—a refusal to quit. Winners are invariably those who simply tried one more time. Resilience is the key to making this possible when things are not going quite as you would like. Gain the inner fortitude to stay on track with your goals with this title, Developing Resilience. Act today and train your mind to spring back! Sample Affirmations "I am strong. I recover quickly.
