Deva - Vegan Omega-3 DHA - 200MG - Softgels

Deva nutrition Omega-3 DHA delivered in a soft gel tablet. DHA is vital for normal brain development of the fetus and infant, and for the maintenance of normal brain function throughout life. An omega-3 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acid and it is the primary building block of the human brain tissue and eye, the human brain is about 60% fat, and DHA is one of the crucial structural fatty acids in both the brain and the retina. Approximately 30% of the structural lipid in the gray matter of the brain is DHA. Thus, it is required for the proper functioning of the neural systems. Also, many scientists are suggesting supplementation with omega-3 fatty acids as they have been shown to contribute to cardiovascular health by lowering and normalizing certain blood lipids. DHA may lower triglyceride levels and in some, may elevate HDL cholesterol, the one that is good. Without taking in fish oils, most vegans and vegetarians have no quality source of DHA, therefore supplementation is a wise idea for those wishing to maintain optimal health. One other benefit of these softgels are that they are now designed to pass through the stomach more easily to digest in the small intestine - this means better absorption and less of the "fishy aftertaste" that most people do not enjoy.  Available in 90 serving softgel bottle (3 month supply).
