Detroit Dark Red Beet Root Seeds

Papaw’s Garden Supply: Helping The Next Generation To Grow With Nature. Detroit Dark Red is a superb beetroot variety, offering deeper color, smoother skin, and a more refined taproot and crown attachment than traditional Detroit selections.  Even in early development, the slow bolting habit and pleasing round shape make Detroit Dark Red suitable for bunching, topping, and home garden use in temperate and subtropical regions. The dark red roots overgrow and stay tender even when 10 cm (4") across and larger. Plants grow to an average height of around 30-38 cm (12-15”) with a spread that is 25-30 cm (10-12”) wide.
