Detachable Full Spectrum PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation) Meter

Measurement of PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation) flux density is crucial for optimizing plant growth in greenhouses and indoor farms, as it provides crucial information on the amount of light energy available for photosynthesis. By monitoring PAR levels, growers can adjust the lighting intensity, duration, and spectrum to achieve optimal plant growth and yield. The Sper Detachable Full Spectrum PAR Meter feature a remote sensor that can used in hand or with 36”extension/selfie stick. Remote sensor may also be mounted on tripod with tripod mounting screw. Stable measurement of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR, PPFD Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) High accuracy PAR measurement for 400 to 700nm under all light sources, including LEDs Includes Meter, Sensor, Cables, extension stick, Instructions, plastic case and 2 (AAA) batteries. This instrument features a tripod mount, and we recommend using a tripod for the most stable and accurate readings. Applications Horticulture Different plants have varying light requirements, and maintaining appropriate PAR levels is essential for optimal growth and development. Monitoring and adjusting PAR levels through the use of artificial lighting systems or natural sunlight exposure play a crucial role in supporting healthy plant growth, maximizing photosynthetic efficiency, and promoting desirable traits like flowering and fruiting. Plant Physiology Detachable Full Spectrum PAR Meter can be used in plant physiology research to study the effects of different light conditions on photosynthesis, growth, and development. It can also be used to quantify the photosynthetic capacity of plants and the efficiency of light absorption. Environmental Science Detachable Full Spectrum PAR Meter can be used to measure the PAR flux density in natural ecosystems and to study the effects of climate change, air pollution, and other environmental factors on plant growth and productivity. Education 8583 AZ Detachable Full Spectrum PAR Meter can be used as a teaching tool in biology and horticulture classes to demonstrate the importance of light in plant growth and to provide hands-on experience in measuring PAR levels.
