Desert Ironwood Pendant

Handmade Desert Ironwood Pendant. Olneya tesota is a perennial flowering tree of the family Fabaceae, legumes, which is commonly known as ironwood, desert ironwood, or palo fierro in Spanish. It is the only species in the monotypic genus Olneya. This tree is part of the western Sonoran Desert complex in the Southwestern United States. Pendant is finished with our two step natural oil finish to highlight the species unique grain patterns and colors as well as to protect the wood from moisture.  No stains or dyes are used, these are the natural colors of the wood. Pendant is assembled using Black Titanium (Ti 6AL-4V ELI, or Grade 23) jump rings to help alleviate any potential issues in people with sensitive skin.
