DermLite DL5 Plus

BRIGHTER. SMARTER. CONNECTED BY DESIGN. Your Plus for Dermoscopy. DL5 Plus delivers substantially increased illumination across all modes — and UV fluorescence that is now twice as bright as DL5.  By doubling down on UV and leveraging its ever-expanding clinical utility, DL5 Plus continues our drive to create tools that inspire curiosity and enable discovery.  Clinicians will notice improved visualization of vascular structures, pigmentation contrasts, and subtle findings.   Your Plus for Efficiency. With seamless wireless control through the first-ever DermLite App >>link to app page>>, it turns your iPhone into a platform for a complete dermoscopy workflow — capture, AI-analyze, follow up, and organize with ease. MultiShot gives you more – capturing polarized and non-polarized images in a single tap. Scroll seamlessly from deep-penetrating cross-polarization to superficial parallel polarization. Visualize skin structures at every optical depth. With enhanced PigmentBoost® (9 color temperature levels), optimize contrast for pigmented and vascular lesions alike.   Your Plus for Precision. For the first time, there is a dedicated DermLite app built around a complete dermoscopy workflow. Monitor lesions and clinical regions beautifully with your DL5 Plus, organize findings, compare follow-ups, and manage patients seamlessly. And with your personal Hub Cloud — the secure home for all your skin imaging, built by FotoFinder — your data is always available exactly where you need it. When screening larger areas, the powerful torch LED provides brilliant illumination from a distance. Need to measure? The magnetically attached 100 mm stainless steel ruler makes lesion assessment and biopsy punch selection effortless.   Your Plus for Durability. Refined materials, smoother button response, improved durability — DL5 Plus is engineered for daily professional use. Ergonomically balanced for one-handed operation and extended comfort. A high-capacity lithium-ion battery with USB-C charging and Vacation Mode ensures the device is always ready when you are.   Features & Benefits: OPTICS ø32 mm premium lens system with exceptional clarity up-close and at distance  true 10x magnification — resolves even finer structures POLARIZATION toggle between DermLite-quality polarized and non-polarized illumination scroll continuously from deep cross-polarization to extremely superficial parallel polarization enhanced brightness across all modes for improved vascular visualization ILLUMINATION Substantially brighter white LEDs with signature DermLite spectrum 365 nm UV mode — more than twice as bright as DL5 PigmentBoost mode with 9 adjustable color temperature levels Torch mode: ultrabright LED for distant illumination 9 levels of brightness control in all modes SMART CONNECTIVITY VIA THE DERMLITE APP Control lighting modes from your phone Automated MultiShot (multiple lighting modes captured with a single tap) AI risk scoring (MDR-compliant where available) DESIGN Removable glass contact plate with 10 mm reticle (bayonet style Includes IceCap disposable caps to help reduce cross-contaminatio Includes magnetically attached 100 mm stainless steel ruler Works with virtually any smartphone via included MCC adapter Compatible with small-area contact plate (sold separately) POWER 3000 mAh lithium-ion battery Four-level charge indicator; device sleeps after 3 minutes of inactivity USB-C charging Vacation Mode reduces battery drain during extended downtime
