Together they created their slow fashion line SilkDenim, based in Pennsylvania, fearlessly up-cycling 100% recycled materials and emphasizing hand crafting. After collecting worn clothing, the duo rework by hand denim fabric at different stages of their wear, altering and reusing some of the authentic utilitarian details from the discarded pieces, seeking out imperfections, fading, and holes as signs of the garment’s memories.
