Denali Chaga Tea

A box of hand bagged Chaga tea bags from right outside Denali.   What is Chaga? Chaga, sometimes called “The Gold of the Forest” is a Birch tree canker formed by the fungus Inonotus Obliquus. People have been using Chaga for around 1000 years, and its positive effects have been confirmed by modern science. It is the most antioxidant-rich food on the ORAC scale containing 45x more antioxidants than Acai berries. Chaga is a natural biogenous stimulant, this means it activates the body’s metabolic process, stimulates the work of all the body’s systems, accelerates rehabilitation processes in organs and tissues, and strengthens the protection against harmful pollutants. This leads to benefits like: Slowing the aging process, boosting the immune system, reducing inflammation, supporting digestive health, and much more*. The most common way to consume Chaga is by making a tea or a concentrate known as a tincture. Luckily it tastes nothing like a mushroom and possesses an earthy almost vanilla flavor. It’s great when combined with coffee or chai and is growing in popularity around the US. 8 teabags per box
