Denali 16×28

The Flagship Denali: Built for Swim Spas, Pools, and Grand-Scale Entertaining The Denali 16×28 is the flagship building of the Denali collection and one of the largest enclosed structures that Westview manufactures. At approximately 16 feet wide and 28 feet long, this is a building that operates at commercial scale while maintaining the modern aesthetic and residential simplicity that define the Denali line. It houses a swim spa or in-ground swimming pool with room to spare, serves as an outdoor recreational room for a large extended family, or functions as a private banquet hall for events and celebrations. One couple ordered the largest Ultrawood building Westview makes to ensure they had plenty of room for their swim spa and space for use as a family room. The oversized windows wrapping the full perimeter of this nearly 450-square-foot structure create an interior that is flooded with daylight. One customer described their reaction upon first seeing the completed building: there are no words to describe how thrilled they were. The Denali 16×28 is the kind of structure that generates that response — it is large enough to feel like an event space, yet finished and detailed enough to feel like a room in your home. Two-Tier Reinforced Roof: Engineering at Scale The Denali 16×28 features a two-tier Duraflex PC roof system with reinforced truss supports engineered for the demands of a nearly 450-square-foot roof span. Snow loads, ice accumulation, wind uplift, and the sustained weight of precipitation are all accounted for in the truss-reinforced design. The two-tier roofline creates dramatic interior ceiling height that gives the space the volume and atmosphere of a permanent indoor room. Ultrawood at Flagship Scale Every wall and skirt panel of the Denali 16×28 is manufactured from Ultrawood composite. At this scale, the advantages of Ultrawood over wood are enormous: maintaining a wood structure of this size would require an annual commitment of time and money that most homeowners would find burdensome within a few years. Ultrawood eliminates that entirely. The material does not rot, crack, fade, or attract insects, and it never needs staining, sealing, or repainting. Customers who have compared the Denali to having a local contractor build a custom enclosure consistently report that the Westview building cost a fraction of the contractor quote while delivering equal or superior quality. One family noted that they looked everywhere until they found Westview, and that the finished building was beautiful, roomy, and exactly what they were looking for — with the real-wood look of Ultrawood sealing the decision. Three Entrances for Maximum Access and Flow The Denali 16×28 includes three separate entrances: one set of heavy-duty aluminum French double doors and two sliding door entrances. The standard layout positions the French doors on the “16”-foot front and both sliding doors on one of the “28”-foot sides. As with all Westview buildings, the door and window wall sections share identical dimensions, so all entrance positions can be customized during assembly. Three entrances are particularly valuable for swim spa and pool house applications, where separate access for wet and dry zones improves safety, flow, and convenience. Foundation, Permits, and Assembly Planning For swim spa and hot tube use, a reinforced concrete pad engineered for the combined weight of the building, the water-filled spa or pool, and interior furnishings is the recommended foundation. Westview’s engineering stamp document provides the resource for building permits and HOA approvals. Assembly takes a team of three to four people a full weekend. Customers report that the assembly instructions are great and easy to follow, and that the crate contents are packed in labeled layers for efficient unloading. Optional screen kits, tempered glass window upgrades, and roof bracket reinforcements are available individually or as discounted bundles. If a 28-foot length exceeds your needs, the Denali 16×24 delivers the same 16-foot width in a shorter format. For a different aesthetic at the same scale, the Brentwood 16×28 offers a studio-style design with an even more window-forward approach.
