Dekalb Achievement Program Regional Winner Corn Trophy

Cast metal figural ear of corn mounted horizontally on a shaped hardwood base, flanked by two stylized winged-corn emblems-Dekalb's long-standing insignia-rendered in miniature sculptural form. The central ear is finished in a darkened patina, emphasizing the dense kernel texture, while the base carries a brass presentation plaque reading "Dekalb Achievement Program Regional Winner." The piece reflects Dekalb's deep ties to hybrid seed innovation and dealer recognition programs, where performance in yield, sales, or regional development was formally acknowledged. The design is direct and symbolic-corn as both product and identity-elevated just enough through material contrast and proportion to read as a desk or shelf award rather than a purely utilitarian object. Felt pads are present on the underside to protect surfaces. Light surface wear to the wood base and minor oxidation to the brass plaque consistent with age. No major structural issues observed. 13.75" W x 5.5" D x 3.5" H SS - C-19704 - 031826 For information regarding shipping, please visit our Terms & Conditions page here.
