Puck oil

Also known as Robin Goodfellow, Puck is bright, mischievous and elusive. Puck oil is especially inspired by Mickey Rooney’s performance in the old black-and-white film, “Midsummer Night’s Eve.” Faery trickster, shape shifter and fool, Puck’s name is as bewildering to etymologists as that of any major deity. If you needed any proof that we all love a merry prankster, Puck is the proof in the pudding. While his modern interpretation seems to have crystallized in Midsummer Night’s Dream as the sidekick of Faery King Oberon, Puck is a true shape shifter across nations and generations, from the Celtic Phooka to the “little devil” in Iceland to the more benign Robin Goodfellow, Robin Hood, Hobgoblin, and old German word for “unsettled.” The reason I love Puck so much is that he always offers a humorous and lighthearted reason for why the situation gets all fucked up. He bollixes everything but in the end we are able to put things back together in a better way. Puck brings the need for change to a head, forcing the creative solutions that we were to lazy to arrive at before his “interventions.” Puck oil is one of the many Natural Magick formulations that were developed for my friend and muse Otter. Puck’s scent is wild, odd, and “minty fresh.” Use it if you are ready for the unexpected! For more potions for Faery magick, read this blog article. Natural Magick deity oils are made with reverence and research to be pleasing devotional blends for the gods and goddesses they are named for. I research legend and lore, and try to use oils of plants that grew in the lands where the deity originated or rules. The Natural Magick process of using planetary and elemental influences, correspondence, and high quality ingredients is especially appropriate for honoring the gods and bringing their qualities into our lives. Anoint yourself to attune to these deities, or pour into offering bowls or aromatherapy lamps, or anoint statues or fetish objects. I love to give them to priests or priestesses who run open circles or invoke our patron gods and goddesses. These oils are in beautiful round 1/2 ounce bottles, blended in 100% fractionated coconut oil, so with any care they should last a very long time. They are priced according to the ingredients requested by the gods.
