Dehydrated Sourdough Starter Kit

Have some of Sara's inherited 237-year-old sourdough starter from San Francisco! (Her mom purchased from San Fran; it has not been in our family that long). San Fran has a history rich in sourdough, and their starter packs an extra tangy punch! You will receive 3 tablespoons of dehydrated starter, as well as very detailed instructions on how to rehydrate and maintain your starter! Sara also has a detailed instructional video posted to her YouTube and social media platforms! You can also email her anytime with questions! Watch Sara's Sourdough Starter tutorial here You only need 1 tbsp of dehydrated starter to get going, so this is enough to make 3 starters! You will essentially have sourdough starter for the rest of your life! Her instructions teach you how to dehydrate some yourself (no dehydrator required!) so you will always have a backup! You can find all of Sara's Sourdough recipes here And you can find all of Sara's favorite sourdough tools and other sourdough related videos here Dehydrated starter is good indefinitely. If you don't plan on using right away, store in an airtight container! We only feed organic freshly milled heirloom flour to feed our starter!
