DEFTONES 'DIAMOND EYES' LP

LABEL: Reprise VINYL RELEASE DATE: 5/25/2010 ORIGINAL RELEASE DATE: 5/4/2010 VARIANT: Black Vinyl LP Not only does Diamond Eyes’ cover look utterly stunning in vinyl form, the music was meant to be enriched by a high-fidelity listening experience. More than any other band who’ve ever been tagged as nu-metal, Deftones’ rich, dreamy, dynamically engaging songwriting pairs wonderfully well with a comfy living room seat and good speakers. The songs on Diamond Eyes — from the riotous “Royal” to the atmospheric “Beauty School” — build a world unto themselves, and it’s one that deserves to be explored with your turntable.
