Defining Discernment Bible Study

What is culture telling us today? That truth is subjective. That your truth is your truth and my truth is my truth. But the Bible says God is the one who defines truth. Truth comes from Him and the moment we stray away we are going to begin to reap the consequences of our wrong thinking. When something happens in your home with your kids or in culture, and you sense a check in your spirit, GO TO THE WORD. It’s your responsibility: “Father, give me Your eyes.” A discerning Christian is going to resist cultural lies and a worldly interpretation of the Word of God.  Biblical discernment is the ability to think biblically about every aspect of our lives; to filter what we see happening around us through the grid of scripture. It’s the ability to “judge well” based on a correct understanding and application of biblical truth. 90 pages, 4 chapters DESCRIPTION This study contains portions of scripture to read, teaching about the topic or scripture, exercises where you will engage with the text in various ways (underline, circle, match answers, rewrite portions, fill in the blank, define a word, etc.), guided prayer, thoughtful questions for application and deeper study.  It is easily divided in such a way that you can do it in one sitting or over several days in smaller portions. You make it work for you! Written initially to an audience of moms, but containing more than enough content for any female to learn and apply to her own life in many circumstances.
