Defense On A String

Defense On a String is a basketball practice tool designed to teach defensive principles.  It has 5 belts that are connected by bungee cords to simulate the concept of a team playing on a string defensively.  This will allow 5 players to be connected to enhance their defensive skills by moving in unison. The adjustable belts wrap comfortably around the waist and as one player rotates to close out on the ball, every other player will feel a tug as a reminder to get in a help position or a passing lane. This revolutionary product can be used to teach players both man-to-man or zone defense. It fosters the muscle memory needed for good defensive execution by reinforcing the need for every player to move when the ball is in flight.  Teach players both man-to-man or zone defense. Helps teams move as a unit Teaches proper spacing Improve players reaction time Improve foot speed Remind plays to move with the flight of the ball With its proven effectiveness, whether you are coaching a middle school, high school team, college team or pro team, Defense On a String will help your players become better defenders.
