DEF CON 34 MOCA 10-IN-1 Multi-Tool

DEF CON 34 MOCA 10-in-1 Multi-Tool Everything you need a tool for at a con is small. A battery door. A zip tie. A bottle. A box on the vendor floor. None of it justifies carrying a folding multi-tool, and all of it justifies carrying something. The MOCA (Multiple Operational Carry Accessory) is ten functions cut from a single piece of hardened 420 stainless steel, 2.670" long, 0.100" thick, half an ounce. This edition is laser-etched with the DEF CON 34 design and produced in limited quantities. It loads inside a Keyport Pivot alongside your keys, or rides on a keyring on its own. Non-bladed, which is the entire point when you are flying home from Las Vegas. Ten Tools, No Bulk One piece of steel, no moving parts, nothing to fold open or lock shut. At 0.100" thick it sits flat in a Pivot stack instead of protruding, which is the difference between a tool you carry and a tool you leave at home. Frequently Asked Questions: DEF CON 34 MOCA 10-in-1 Multi-Tool Is the MOCA Tool TSA-compliant? The MOCA is non-bladed, and non-bladed multi-tools are permitted in carry-on baggage. Final determination always rests with the TSA agent at the checkpoint, so if you are unwilling to risk it, pack it in checked baggage. What makes this version DEF CON 34 exclusive? It carries laser-etched DEF CON 34 graphics and is produced in a limited run for this year's conference. Once it sells out, it is not reordered. Does the MOCA fit in a Keyport Pivot? Yes. The MOCA loads inside the Pivot chassis as an insert, sitting in the stack alongside your keys rather than mounting to the outside. Does the MOCA fit a Keyport Slide? No. The MOCA 10-in-1 is built for the Pivot. It also works on its own using the built-in loop on any keyring or clip. Can I use it without a Keyport Pivot? Yes. The built-in loop attaches to any standard keyring, carabiner, or clip, and every function works the same way off the chassis as on it. What is it made of? Hardened 420 stainless steel, cut as a single piece. No moving parts, no pivots, nothing to fold or lock. How thick is it? 0.100", which is 2.54mm. That is thin enough to sit flat in a Pivot stack without protruding. What size hex bits does it drive? The hex bit driver accepts standard 1/4" hex bits. The tool also includes 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8" wrench cutouts.
