Deering Vintage Light Gauge 5-String Banjo Strings

The new Vintage Light set honors the heritage of the "Bell Brand Strings", widely acknowledged as the strings to use around the 1950’s. Used in countless classic recordings, these string gauges are an indispensable industry standard. Banjo virtuoso and Deering artist, Jens Kruger comments, “For an authentic bluegrass sound, the Vintage Light Set will provide the true feel and tone of the good old days. Clean attack, plenty of volume, distinct note separation, as well as excellent properties for sliding and bending.” Our string packs are produced exclusively by GHS Strings. Each string is individually packaged in a nitro sealed pack for freshness, and features GHS's LockTwist at the loop end, for unrivaled durability.  String Gauges:  First String | 9.5 Second String | 11 Third String | 12 Fourth String | 20w Fifth String | 9.5 End Type | Loop
