Deep Pottery Plate

This modest pottery plate has a generous lip on it for meals that need to be contained, like rice served with a luscious sauce.   Transform your home into a natural refuge from hectic modern life: one lichen green pottery plate at a time.   I hand build these stoneware ceramic plates (instead of throwing them on a potter's wheel) which creates their natural shapes.   I make my pottery this way because this is how I make my ceramic sculptures and because I wanted to make plates that felt like they had grown into being pottery instead of having been made into plates. Food, Microwave and Dishwasher Safe Measures approximately 8-9" in diameter.  Colors and shapes vary as each plate is one of a kind.  They will all coordinate with each other in natural green and blue shades. This is a stock photo. Since this is hand built pottery, every piece of pottery is unique.
