These pieces are loved for their lightweight weave, fresh feel, and everyday comfort. The textile features a deep orange base with soft, multicolored embroidery in yellow, green, purple, pink, and blue. The classic Cobán diamond motifs are stitched with precision, giving the huipil a vibrant yet elegant look. The fabric is soft, breathable, and flowy, offering a naturally fresh silhouette that moves comfortably with the body. Its airy construction makes it perfect for warm weather, while the cropped shape layers beautifully over high‑waisted skirts, jeans, or traditional cortes. The embroidery adds texture and cultural richness, highlighting the artistry of Alta Verapaz Maya weavers. Designed as one size, it fits comfortably and flatters a wide range of body types. Ideal for shoppers searching for Coban huipiles, Guatemalan crop tops, Alta Verapaz textiles, lightweight artisan clothing, Maya embroidery, and handwoven Guatemalan fashion. Find Your Perfect Fit Our Mayan tops are handcrafted using traditional weaving techniques, resulting in a beautiful, relaxed silhouette. Because these pieces do not follow standard factory sizing, we provide two ways to ensure you find the perfect fit. 1. Measure Your Body Compare your total body circumference to the chart below to find your equivalent US Size. US Size (Number) Fits Bust (Total Circumference) Best For Letter Size 0 – 2 32" – 33" Extra Small (XS) 4 – 6 34" – 35" Small (S) 8 – 10 36" – 37" Medium (M) 12 – 14 38" – 40" Large (L) 16 – 18 41" – 43" Extra Large (XL) 18 – 20 44" – 46" 2XL / 1X 2. The "Flat Lay" Method (Recommended) The easiest way to know how a top will drape is to measure a shirt you already love. Lay your favorite non-stretch top flat on a table. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit (this is the Flat Width). Compare that number to the "Flat Width" listed in our product details. Note on Handmade Items: Since each piece is individually handwoven, please allow for a slight variation of 0.5" to 1" in measurements. This uniqueness is part of the charm of artisanal textiles! Why "Flat Width" Matters If our Mayan top has a Flat Width of 22", it has a Total Circumference of 44". If your bust is 36", this top will have a beautiful, oversized look with plenty of room. If your bust is 42", this top will provide a more tailored, standard fit.   Huehuetenango Vintage huipil in ochre—a pre-loved treasure in good condition.
