One-Piece Plastic Frame - Double Wax - Deep

Assembling wooden frames one at a time eats hours you don't have during spring buildup. These one-piece molded frames skip that step entirely — pull them out of the case and they're ready to go straight into a deep box, already coated with a heavy double layer of beeswax to get bees drawing comb faster. Key Features No Assembly Required: One-piece molded construction — no nails, no glue, no time lost setting up new equipment. Heavy Double Wax Coating: Encourages bees to draw comb quickly and evenly, improving acceptance over bare plastic. Precision Cell Structure: Molded for consistent comb building and better bee acceptance. Reinforced Ears: Strengthened at the point most frames fail first, for added durability during inspections and harvest. Rigid Construction: Stays flat and sturdy — won't warp or sag over repeated seasons like some plastic frames. Fits Standard Equipment: Sized at 9-1/8" to fit standard 9-5/8" deep boxes. Made in the USA: Manufactured in California under Acorn's quality control. Why One-Piece Plastic Over Wood-and-Wax Wood frames need assembly and separate foundation — time you don't always have when you're expanding fast or replacing damaged equipment mid-season. These frames arrive ready to use, with the wax already applied, so there's no assembly line between opening the box and putting frames in the hive. Buying for Multiple Hives Sold individually or by the case of 52 — the case option makes sense as soon as you're outfitting more than a couple of boxes, since it's a meaningful per-frame savings over singles.
