Elecampane root nourishes healthy lung function and promotes overall respiratory performance. Angelica root: Angelica archangelica has been used since ancient times for a wide range of respiratory health benefits. The root is used today to support optimal circulation and lung function. Yerba Santa leaf: Eriodictyon spp. (californicum, angustifolium, crassifolium, and trichocalyx) means "sacred herb" and was traditionally revered in its native California for its powerful health benefits. Today it is used to support a healthy histamine response, promote optimal immune function, normalize mucus membranes, and calm runaway mucus production. Yarrow aerials: Achillea millefolium was said to have been carried by the Greek warrior Achilles in his belt during the Trojan War to treat battlefield wounds, hence the Latin name referring to the warrior and yet another common name for Yarrow: the warrior herb. Yarrow furthers the body's natural immune response and supports mucosal tissue in response to seasonal stress. Hawthorn berry: Crataegus spp. is known as an excellent herb for the chest, heart, and cardiovascular system. The apple-like berries of this small tree nourish and support the heart and lungs as sister body systems, encouraging healthy circulation, healthy blood pressure, and optimal lung function. Mullein leaf: Verbascum thapsus has an affinity for the lungs and was traditionally used to soothe occasional cough. Its demulcent properties make it wonderful support for dry and irritated lung tissues. Mullein leaf supports a healthy inflammatory response and encourages healthy microbial balance and immune response. Yerba Mansa root: Anemopsis californica is an aromatic, spicy plant native to the southwest United States. Native communities and settlers revered it for its many health benefits. An astringent plant, it helps support optimal inflammatory response and mucus membranes. Garlic bulb: Allium sativum has been used throughout the world as food and medicine for centuries. Hippocrates prescribed it for lung concerns, and in India and China, it was traditionally indicated for respiratory support. Garlic supports a healthy inflammatory response and supports respiratory health and function. The rich free radical scavengers found in garlic help protect against free radical damage that can harm healthy cells. Osha root: Ligusticum poteri offers deep healing with its affinity to bring the body back to balance.
