Product Overview These bee feeders are designed to provide a reliable food source for honeybees, especially during times of low nectar flow. Crafted from high-quality materials, our feeders are built to last and are easy to use and clean.  The feeders come in 4 pieces and snap together easily, only about 30 seconds to assemble. They can also be taken apart to clean thoroughly. The ladders in the middle allow the bees the ability to walk down to the syrup or water and back out, preventing drowning. Key Features and Benefits Two Size Options: Choose between the 1-gallon feeder (replaces 1 frame) or the 1.5-gallon feeder (replaces 2 frames); perfect for different hive setups.  Tube-Style Cap and Ladder: Allows bees to safely access syrup without the risk of drowning, as they can only reach the liquid via the ladder. Improved Ribbing: Inner walls feature ribbing for better traction if using without the cap and ladder system. Durable Construction: Made of black polypropylene, the feeder is sturdy and resists bowing or bending over time. Easy to Assemble and Clean: Unlike many other feeders, the removable cap and ladder make refilling and cleaning out old syrup simple. Made in the USA: High-quality, locally-made beekeeping product designed for durability. Usage Instructions Insert the feeder into your deep box or super, where it will replace one or two standard deep frames. This is often in the 2nd box of your hive. For optimal placement, position the feeder on the side of the box, above your brood nest. Fill the feeder through the top cap with a sugar syrup solution. Bees will descend the ladder to access the syrup safely, reducing the risk of drowning. Clean the feeder regularly by removing the cap and ladder, rinsing them thoroughly, and drying them before refilling.  Additional Info Dimensions: 1 Gallon Frame: 19L x 8.875H x 2.125W 1.5 Gallon Frame Feeder: 19L x 8.875H x 2.75W Care Instructions: Clean the feeder regularly using warm water; ensure it is fully dry before adding syrup again.
