Deep Immersion

In Migle Kosinskaite’s work, Deep Immersion shows a face with closed eyes, floating like a quiet mask against a bright turquoise background. The expression is peaceful and inward, as if the figure is deep in thought or resting in a calm inner space. The textured surface of the face gives it a stone-like softness, adding depth to the stillness. Small touches of blue near the closed eyelids create a gentle contrast against the gray tones, hinting at emotion or light behind the calm exterior. The strong turquoise surrounding the face makes the composition feel fresh and clear, keeping all focus on the quiet expression. At its heart, Deep Immersion is about retreating into oneself - finding a moment of quiet inside the noise of daily life. The artwork feels simple, meditative, and steady. And while the piece speaks strongly on its own, its mood fits naturally into Migle Kosinskaite’s wider collection of thoughtful and introspective works.
